Peggy and Armin took part in the Aachen Technology and Entrepreneurship Conference on 30.11.2018. Thereby they got into conversation with keynote speaker Frank Thelen.
The ATAC 2018 short for Aachen Technology and Entrepreneurship Conference is the region’s largest event around start-ups with an innovative technological focus. This year’s ATC took place in the rooms of the Super C of the RWTH Aachen University. The main theme this year was “Automation” in the sense of radical technological change. The magnet of the year was keynote speaker Frank Thelen – well-known founder and investor with technology focus from the show Höhle der Löwen. Frank Thelen’s talk made a lasting impression on Armin and Peggy – because of the content, but especially because of Frank’s openness and manner. The two founding siblings of IT hilft gGmbH therefore immediately asked Frank interested questions: “What about the human factor in your approach? And do you stand by social responsibility in and with IT?” Frank was cordial in answering both of them. Therefore, they also immediately took the opportunity to make contact and introduced themselves as a non-profit company, but also as passionate IT people. Let’s see what the future brings.
