Smart City Expo Barcelona: Dresden company presents new IT solution for municipalities

Focus on digital solutions for people with disabilities

DRESDEN – The Dresden IT company Heinrich & amp; Reuter Solutions GmbH (HeiReS®) will be presenting new IT solutions for municipalities at the “Smart City Expo” trade fair in Barcelona, which starts next week. This is the world’s largest event on the subject of “Cities of the Future”. As one of four selected innovative companies, HeiReS® presents smart and digital solutions for municipalities as well as for people with disabilities as part of a joint stand of the Free State of Saxony. The aim is to use new technologies and applications to make municipalities more progressive, more sustainable and more socially inclusive.

The focus of HeiReS® is on a specially developed content distribution system, called “ConDiSys”. This application enables municipalities in particular to create their own, individual websites, software and apps – for example as local information systems for the compatibility of family and work or for migrants for orientation. The unique selling point of “ConDiSys” are barrier-free IT solutions of all kinds.

A particular focus of HeiReS® is the subject of accessibility. There are also diverse solutions and services to enable people with disabilities to participate in digital life. Testing for accessibility, technical advice as well as explanatory videos with subtitles and translation into easy language comprise the portfolio. HeiReS® offers a holistic introduction to the topic with a book, online course and seminars.
