For the 23rd time, the Saxon Ministry of Family is organizing a big family day. We were there with our solution family-and-work at the booth of the SMS.
This time the big family festival of the state of Saxony took place in beautiful Wurzen. By tradition, the host is the Saxon State Ministry of Social Affairs as well as the Free State as a whole. Besides the delicacies at the booths and great entertainment program also non-profit organizations had the opportunity to exhibit there. We were there with IT hilft gGmbH and our IT solution for a better work-life balance at the SMS booth. We were not only present with rollups and brochures. The presentation of our digital helper for family friendliness by us directly at the fair PC was a highlight at the booth.
It was therefore a very special honor for us that our Minister President Michael Kretschmer, together with Minister of State Barbara Klepsch, also had our IT solution presented to them. Although only one minute was planned, both listened attentively to the explanations at the presented live object of Peggy and asked interested questions. In addition to the content and modern functionalities as well as the use of AI, the multilingualism with Polish, Czech and Russian as well as the accessibility including easy language met with much approval and praise.
Therefore, at the end of the meeting, Peggy summoned up all her courage and asked both the Prime Minister and the Minister for a sponsorship for the project. This was gladly answered in the affirmative. Both took business cards, but especially the postcards to the apps with pleasure. After all, they also face the challenges of balancing family and career. Perhaps our solution will also be helpful in overcoming these.
We are very pleased about the verbal promise of a project sponsorship by Minister President Michael Kretschmer and Minister Barbara Klepsch – because it shows that real help for Saxony’s citizens is very close to the hearts of our government.
