Design and development of a shop solution for gaming and PC hardware

The challenge:
They were looking for a simple shop solution – initially only intended for merchandising. The solution had to have the potential to be scalable and continuously adaptable to the needs and growth of the project. In the course of the project, the development of a configurator solution, partially automated tasks such as warehouse imports and a convenient filter solution for the growing product catalog became important.

The benefit for the customer:
E-Commerce solutions should be easy for customers to use. The shopping experience should be smooth and understandable, and payment should be smooth and trustworthy. At the same time, dealing with the shop, maintaining products, handling orders, etc. should be made as technically easy as possible for employees.

The way there:
After weighing up the initial requirements and deciding on the shop solution, HeiReS set up the shop system in Shopify and established a suitable theme including adjustments to the CI. In order to scale the project, the product portfolio and the variety of products, the system was continuously expanded technically by means of plug-ins and individual adjustments.
