Our Minister President Michael Kretschmar had invited. The startups of Saxony were allowed to come to the state chancellery for a dialog in cooperation with Bitcom. We were also there with our non-profit startup IT hilft gGmbH – specifically Peggy and Kati. Many essential topics were addressed in the dialogue: Saxony as a high-tech location, crafts and SMEs, support for founders, startups in rural areas, women as founders, startups from science, entrepreneurship as an alternative design and attracting skilled workers in times of a shortage of skilled workers. It was especially nice to see the openness of Prime Minister Kretschmar and the CIO of the State Chancellery for further talks and the clear commitment to support Saxony’s startups. We are very pleased that our Minister President is very warm and down-to-earth for the needs of startups. It’s great that he is who he is.
